Abstract


Indigenous knowledge is the accumulated knowledge, skills and technology of the local people, derived from the direct interaction of human beings and their environment. Indigenous post harvest knowledge to manage pulse has been very important aspect for farmers owing to lack of resources and capital of the farmers. In this paper, the indigenous storage practices adopted by the dry land farmers were identified and documented.
